It is beyond simple, so it’s very easy to learn to play and enjoy. It is played wit 8 card decks with 52 cards. There are no Jokers. Moreover, the values of cards are as follows – 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A, with the Ace being the highest-valued card in the shoe.

Here is how to play War Live.

1. Place the bet. The betting phase lasts a handful of seconds and allows you to place a main bet, side bet, or main + side bet.
2. The main game round. Once the betting phase ends, the dealer will deal one card to the player and the other one to the dealer.
3. The outcome. The higher value of the cards wins. In case of a Tie, the third (and optional) phase begins.
4. Surrender or Go to War. Players choose whether they want to Surrender or Go to War. Surrender returns 50% of the bet, Go to War doubles it for a rematch.
5. War. If you choose to Go to War, the dealer will deal 2 new cards. The higher card wins.
6. Another Tie. In case of another Tie, the bet is automatically doubled to get to the next War. This can go on up to 4 times in a single round.

In the event of having multiple Ties, you will be offered only once choice of Go to War vs Surrender. Once you select to Go to War once, all subsequent Ties will be automatically opting for War.

Betting on War Live starts at $1 and can go up to $1000 per round. That means that you can wager between $1 and $1000 on the main game round.

You can place the same bet on the Side Bet of Tie.

Winning the main game round – getting a card that is higher than the dealer’s – results in a 1:1 payout.

However, if you decide to wager on the Tie side bet, you will win 10:1. Bear in mind that the round has a maximum cap of 4 consecutive Ties. With each new Tie, the payout for the side bet increases, ultimately reaching 200:1. However, the odds of getting that payout are very low, so don’t expect that payout.

The RTP for the game has three RTP values. The main bet (Go to War) is 96.56%, while Surrender and Tie Side Bet have 96.27% and 92.05%, respectively.
